E90 Performance Upgrade Opinion

Hello All,

Just got a 07 335i, and have been reading this forum for a few days.

Would like any positive or negative feed backs on what I am doing to my car:

a.) Already ordered a "FULL" RD Sport Exhaust

b.) Already ordered a RD Sport European ECU Flash

c.) Thinking about a STETT Cold Air Intake (any thoughts?)

d.) Thinking about a Active AutoWerkes Intercooler (any thoughts?)

I would appreciate any feedback. I do not want to waste money.

looks like a good start . RD flash is not very known so no idea how good it is.

No LSD nor upgraded Oil Cooler? I was thinking about doing these 2 before FMIC.

Already has the factory oil cooler due to Sport pkg. They said I would not need to upgrade. Also, indicated to wait on the LSD, and see how it performs first due to cost of LSD

All good. Exhaust is an exhaust. The only difference is the sound. The difference in HP between them is tiny. Its the DPs that will get your HP.

b.) Already ordered a RD Sport European ECU Flash

Waste of money IMHO. Anybody with a used JB3 will school you and have spent a ton less money. IMHO, the closest flash to being worthwhile at this point is the GIAC. Once stage 2 comes out, it will without a doubt the the best flash out. BUT, if HP is your deal, than piggybacks are where its at.

Eh. UR CAI or plain ol' DCI.

d.) Thinking about a Active AutoWerkes Intercooler (any thoughts?)
Go for it. Or check out the helix and any of the other many ICs on the market. Lots to choose from.

Thats just my opinion though. Everybody is entitled to their own. And its all subjective.
