Removing stock intake tips?
Well, I installed my Forge DV's last night and had a very hard time removing and putting back stock airbox.
I searched for a DIY procedure but had no luck. Does anyone have a good trick? |

The airbox is HUGE, you would have to have tiny hands.

1) remove cowling 2) loosen clamps on front/rear hoses 3) pop off front intake hose to the grill area 4) pull up on that bitch!!! HARD, rocking from front to back there are little plastic posts that slip into rubber grommets underneath, you cant really see them but they will release w/ enough force. reinstall is just as easy

I did remove the one that's wrapping around two eletric wires which are hooked on to airbox with rubber grommets but didn't really help. |
