There is no known fix right now, unfortunately. Hopefully you have the 155mph limit at least!

Small correction: You will have a 155mph top speed with the "High Speed Synchronization" option on the car. This option also installs an oil cooler in the right hand wheel well. If you do not have this option your speed limit is set at 130mph.

Another point, why in gods name do you think you need to go faster than that?!?! Most tracks will not have long enough straights to get you up to those speeds anyways. And you had damn well better not be doing that kind of speed on public roads!!

Agreed - there so be no reason need for that kind of speed.

I have the 130 limit and even at FBO that is enough to run at a 1/4 mile track as I won't trap more than 130.

I sincerely hope you do not kill anyone. Public streets are not the place for these kinds of speeds. Try and picture a 12 year old girl's skull cracked open on your windshield with her brain smeared across it. Maybe that will help you control your urge to race on public streets.

You do realize there are several 1/2 mile roll racing events, on tracks/air strips right?

Maybe you should learn to read. I said "roll race events" meaning track days where we go to the track pay the entrance fee and do controlled races from 40 or 60mph all the way to 130-155mph if not more. These are legal races done at a long strip.

PS ive yet to see a 12 year old girl walking on a highway for me to be able to run her over.

I see your point.. But if there's a 12 year old girl running across a large empty highway late at night.. Isn't she kinda asking for it?

Apologies. If you are doing this at a controlled event like that then I can see your point. I have never heard of this type of event.

You seem to be assuming that she was not in another car. How about the family minivan coming home from a sleepover where she got scared and wanted to go home? You do not see it until it is too late to react and you slam into it. She is ejected from the van and killed. Trust me, the temporary thrill of a race is not worth that kind of horror on your conscience.

Take a look in your right hand wheel well on the front wall. If you see a grill there you have the oil cooler.

How bout we just put 55mph limiters on all of our cars or never leave the house? Or maybe they shouldn't make sports cars anymore right? Nobody needs to go that fast right? Maybe we should just be on this forum talking hypothetically about how we would to a car if we had one?

Yeah sounds pretty silly especially since you didnt read his comment about rolling mile races (which are becoming extremely popular in the US now too). Nobody needs a Public service announcement on here, we're all mature adults.

I did not know what a "roll race event" was. The assumption was that it was an illegal street racing event because that is what is most often done. The purpose of a roll race from 40 escapes me honestly other than to simulate what you would be doing illegally on the streets anyways.

I said nothing about putting limiters on the cars. You will note I helped the OP find out if he has the oil cooler option and the higher top speed. The point I was trying to make is that those types of speeds have zero place on public streets. Hypothetical situations are only hypothetical until they occur to you. Then they are horrible, tragic realities. If you honestly think it can't happen to you then you are a fool. My point is that these speeds are only valid on a track and even then, unattainable in traditional track type situations.
