PCV heater recall updates?

Hi all, just want to know if anyone did this recent recall that BMW issued. How was it? Can't say that this issue was on the forums if at all. If anything BMW should recall the VCG,OFHG or oil pan!

anyway I'm interested in your experience around this recall. Thanks.

I made an appointment last month and the the dealer was able to get me in the next day to do the recall, I previously was trying to do it at another dealer but they kept giving me the run around stating parts weren't available yet.. The service took about an hr, overall a good experience.

Just did it. Got a nice 440i loner for the day. They remove the air box, alternator and belt. That allows them access to the underside of the intake to change the $12 part.

Might go in for this sometime soon. I wonder if they'd throw a new belt on there for no additional labor? Obviously I'd pay for the new belt. Would be nice to get that done while they're in there.

Thanks for the replies. I like the replace belt while at it idea.
I'd be happy if I get a g20 loaner. F30 loaner was a disappointment.
