Apple CarPlay

Hi,

I am wondering if aftermarket product like the above can be installed on top of the existing iDrive system on our car to enable Apple/Android CarPlay?

Do we need to code it to the car?

For 1st Generation CCC it requires a Miracast receiver.
Otherwise CarPlay is available from iD5.
