I'm organizing this event on Facebook through the North American BMW Diesel Owners Group. But I figured there may be a handful of folks in the area that don't use Facebook. If you do use Facebook and have never heard of the group, check us out: https://www.facebook.com/groups/NABDOG/

Plan is to meet up, chat, share stories, and grab some lunch at some place close by. From there a group may decide to head to Houston Raceway Park for TX2k drag racing.

😂 I know my black pile of crap is getting 2300 in turbos and gaskets put on it along with a transmission filter change and new lines, hoping I can do it all in a weekend if everything arrives 😂

We're gonna be hovering very close to 30 people at this. That's pretty unheard of for a BMW diesel meet.

The more the merrier! Tune discount vouchers, stickers, and a host of other goodies will be up for grabs as well!

Note, this will probably be the biggest gathering of diesel BMWs since they came off the assembly line.

Thanks for organizing these events Torqu3. I was debating with my girlfriend if we should do a road trip to join you guys. But replacing my VCG took precedence, unfortunately. Maybe next year.
We should add a HPDE or at least a car control clinic to the mix. Should be fun.

We have done a DIY day at a shop in Dallas in the past as well as a part out party for two days on my old car at that same shop. Although I ran those through the Facebook group and not through here, because reasons.

We've got people road tripping from Georgia and Ohio for this meet. Amazed to see people willing to travel so far. Maybe we'll catch you at another meet some time!

Looks like I got my plan off by one day. We come back from Arkansas on Sat 3/14 and it’s a 7 hr drive. Doesn’t look like I make this giant meetup that has people driving across country. If plans change, I will surprise you and be there. Sucks as I’m so close relative to the long away people. I’m currently in Hendersonville, TN at sister’s home.

Not to be a Chicken Little, but at this point given our world's collective effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, I regrettably will not be attending.

This isn't judgment against anybody wanting to attend nor am I questioning the wisdom of holding the meet (if it's still on.) It's just that I'm not the only one in my home that I have to look out for, and sometimes you have to take one for the team for the household's collective peace of mind.

I'd say turnout was pretty good. Also had 12 cars on the dyno.

At Mik325tds: I'm on medical leave and made the drive to Houston from S. FL. Would have been nice to see you again. It was a good time and met some cool dudes. You know I had concerns about the power my car made, but I actually had best HP with stock turbo's. If I have extra time and end up making a drive to MI I'll hit you up. Hope all is well!
