Cool

I just had mine coded for just about everything last month. I did the top for 25 Mph also. I just hated to always have to be stopped in order to operate it. I like to be just rolling out of the garage or leaving work and if I forgot can drop the top. But my top is in excellent condition so would really hate to mess it up now.

I do need to do the top maintenance and get me a tube of the Pfledge.

What I wish I could also remotely control the safety cover int he trunk. I always have to get out and close it.

The other thing I did was to be able to was code to close the mirrors with the Fob when locked and unlocked.

Now what I really want and am looking for is a nice rear spoiler. I want the Alpina one but it is pricey and cannot find it. May just go performance but really want something different.

I want to also code the mirrors closing! I want to try to do all this coding myself so I have some learning to do first.

I love my performance spoiler, btw!

I did the Alpina tranny flash. Having the top move when the car is moving is only one of the goodies you get. And its a lot cheaper than the smart top module.

Here is a question I had. With coating we have on the seats, does it make sense to condition them or just clean them. I have heard different theories to if the conditioner can get under the coating and have an real effect on the leather.

There was a thread on this maybe a couple months ago. I thought it basically said that conditioner is not needed. Maybe someone else can link that thread? Dark_Knight_335, you there?

yea I think I asked and just clean them. the seats are treated in a way that a conditioner wont get deep enough.

you just wipe them down with some warm water and no soap. you can also take one of those shirt steamers and take a microfiber cloth over it and go over your seats with them to the places where your skin makes contact with the seats the most. just my .02

Oh definitely. I get a whole slew of options:

* Mirrors folding Automatically when you lock or unlock the car
* Mirrors folding with keyfob
* Windows up or down customization
* One Touch Top up or down
* One Touch Windows Up and Down
* Comfort access Trunk open with Remote

You get all this with the smart top module.

You guys are too sensitive. Why the F did you buy a convertible if a little wind messes up your hair?
Chill out man. Why the F are you saying why the F? haha. Relax. If we want wind deflectors let us have em. If you don't want one or don't need one, then don't get one. PLus have you thought about this? Some of us may want our windows down completely while driving on the highway!!! GASP! Shocker!
