Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody would be able to help.

I have recently received and installed a new android unit for my e90 320 2008: https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...7ca4640aTQUPOS

Everytime I install wire this in, it immobilises the car and stops the dash dials working etc.

The unit doesnt turn on/off with the ignition either, just constantly.

Didn't know if this was a software/firmware issue that needed updating.

Some help really would be appreciated if any one has any experience.

I installed similar unit in my F15 X5 and it works fine. Although a different car and a different system, I think these units are pretty consistent from one brand to another. If you have all of the wiring hooked up correctly, I'd disconnect everything and see if the car returns to normal, then re-plug everything and see if the problem returns. If it does, I'd return the unit.
