Left mirror heating does not work (A6DE) E91 320D M47

Hi,

Heating on the left mirror of my E91 320D M47 stopped working (driver side).

On Carly, I get the error "00A6DE Heating mirrors / Mirror heating left /Spoiler rear, relay close".

Pretty sure I can fix this, but not sure where to start. Have you guys encountered this error? Is it interrupted wiring, a fuse or relay?

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

Do other functions of the mirror work? That will help narrow it down. On my x3, the actuator on the driver's side mirror has soiled the mattress, and none of the mirror functions work.

Yes, adjusting the mirrors works without any problems. The car does not have automatic folding mirrors. Right mirror heats up without problems.

remove the mirror glass, check the voltage on wires to glass
test glass heat circuit continiuty

Followed your advice and I fixed it. Had to replace a conector, easy job.
