Those E46 M3 "Drug Dealer" 19" wheels actually look quite good on the Golf.

Had a trip to Northern Ireland not long ago.
Never seen so many clowns in one place. M3 badge on a 5-series and a load more M badges on 1 and 3 series. Fair few bog standard mercs with AMG badges also. I saw so many I was starting to think they were a dealer added option. |

Think this is my first contribution to this thread...
Stayed in a really swanky hotel this weekend in the Lake District - seems even posh folk aren't immune from clownage (we were the scrubbers masquerading as posh folk ).

Expensive car does not mean posh - look at all the comically priced tat sold by Kahn and many other destroyers of decent metal.
There's something even more tragic about a nice car being ruined than simply having an average car in the first place. |

As you say, the tragedy is, they ruin some seriously expensive/tasty metal in the process! |

This M/fake badge thing is definitely a BMW issue.
Don't seem to see many fake AMG badges on Mercs, RS badges on Audis, etc - yet see stacks of non M BMs wearing M badges of some sort. This worries me. What on EARTH possesses someone to stick an M badge on their BM? Is anyone going to be fooled? Do the countless owners not realise what muppets they look with them stuck on? |

It doesnt worry me, just amuses me now. But if I had an M5 for instance, I'd give all the twats in 520d's with M badges a good dose of V10. |

Don't forget Matt was nearly stranded twice the other day, in potentially life threatening circumstances; I don't blame him now for living with such worry now .
