E91 Rear Brake Rotor Fitment

I’ve been googling but can’t seem to find what I expected to be an obvious answer. I ordered rotors from ECS and confirmed all my vehicle info was correct (06/2007 production date E91 RWD) yet the ID on the rear rotors is about an inch too small. There’s no chance it’ll fit over the parking brake shoes, and it definitely isn’t that my old rotor was worn down or anything like that. Rotor OD is the same though. What ID should I expect for my car, and why would they have an otherwise identical rotor?

rwd 323/325/328 sedan/coupe/conv models used a smaller parking brake system. Everything else (330/335/x-drive/wagon models) used the larger one.

Thanks! I do have RWD though, so I guess the question then is why I have the larger system. Are there other clues that could maybe point to a rear end swap? I’ve not seen any evidence of anything being a different age than the rest of the car.

Looks like (according to real oem) all wagons got the larger e-brake diameter regardless of rwd/x-drive, which makes sense due to what you pulled off your car

Very opposite answers lol I suggest you delete your first and incorrect reply as it would necessarily mislead people

Just to close this out, ECS sent out the correct parts and all is good. I need to utilize parts diagrams more. I use them a lot with different cars, just not in the habit with this one yet. They are often a great resource though.

It's the last time I am ordering from them though. Even the spacers they sent were for a smaller bolt pattern. How you F that up when dealing with so many cars from this platform...

There’s a reason there is a Facebook page called “I hate ECS tuning” with thousands of members.

They accused me of stealing one time. On a $700+ order. Total jerks.
