Helix Attache is on sale!

I thought it would already be posted here, but I guess not. I don't know if I'm not supposed to mention anything, but I wasn't told anything from Helix Bimmersport. I got a call on Friday at 1:00pm EST from Helix Bimmersport saying that the Helix Attache is on sale for $795 and the official gains are 70hp to the wheel and 70tq at the wheel. They said that its similar to installing the procede but there might be one or two extra wires to plug. I wish I could get one but it's just not the right time. Just had changed two of my tires and booked some tickets for a vacation.

its posted on the thread that talks about Helix, I'm going to try out the SSTT first then if I feel like I need more power, I can always upgrade later.. plus theres a rumor that SSTT2 is comming out

, I just like the simpleness of the SSTT. But Helix looks like its going to grab a lot of attention

yeah I'm sure it will, I have SSTT too and I love it. I dont know if I'll be waiting for SSTT2 or would be selling my current SSTT and getting the helix. Tough decision!

must even, they both produce almost the same hp, while V2 gives a little bit more of torque.

Not yet. Dynos suggest that Helix generates ~20 more hp to the wheels, but no side by side runs yet. From what I've seen, V2 usually adds somewhere between 40 and 60hp on a dynojet, and Helix seems to add somewhere between 55 and 75.

Helix's biggest advantages ATM are that they have a DP tune, and they cost $800. It'll probably be a couple weeks till we see a same dyno comparison, or side by side car to car comparison, but I think everone who mods their 335i is looking forward to it.

got my call from helix friday morning as well. gave them payment info and now counting the days to arrival lol.

i just sold my sstt as well. i just dont see how sstt v2 will get more gains without controlling a/f, etc. in order to do that i would think there will be a need to splice into the ecu which at that point would be similar to other piggyback tunes. with that said, ssttv2 would no longer be a true "plug n play" tune. but then again who knows, maybe they have some kind of less intrusive method to increase gains..

I had ran against rooster3.0 and he has the V2, with the stock maps at 94%? I'm not sure, but he said that he did not configure it, after he installed it. At that time, I had high AIT and was not getting the full 14psi boost and we were dead even. Haven't had a chance to run against him again to see if there's any difference, but as of now, it's considered DEAD EVEN.
