We're working on it as we speak. Mark installed the Riss DP on his car last Wednesday and we are going to put on the pipes and begin working on the tune with Eazyrock's car this Wednesday.

If SSTT2's numbers arent at least +30hp more then SSTT1, I am going to go with Helix.

So, what numbers can we expect with a FMIC and DPs?

Based on the Dynos in the other thread, more than 100hp over stock at the wheels.

I think the numbers you're quoting also included a FMIC and they were from the tuner's car and those can tend to be a little optimistic. Based on this latest customer car, it wasn't quite so high.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...postcount=1348

Taking the average no-piggy run of 265hp and the average piggy run of 322hp, the gain was 57hp. Great gains and nothing to sneeze at but not 100hp. Perhaps with a FMIC and on a different day/dyno, or with more adapation time, the gains would have been better but let's wait until we see a few more customer dynos before concluding on real-world gains. We all know that no one has come close to the gains published by another well known tuner here.

One very important point to note, this 57hp gain is even higher than that stated on the first post in the other thread. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see actual customer numbers better than those stated by the tuner (or beta customer).

I can promise you that the tuners car, beta-testers cars, and customer cars will all have the same tunes. There is NOTHING faked about the tunes on the tuners cars. They dont bump something just for dyno's and post it off as what youll be getting. Its the actual map thats made for you and I. Secondly, us beta-testers had to pay for our tunes. Theres no way in hell we would want to have fake maps in our cars just for hyped up dynos. What I have in my car has been only to fine tune the best map possible for what you get in your car when its on sale to the public.

Sorry Hyper, I didn't mean to imply anything, although in hindsight I guess I was 'a little bit', and only because of some of things that have gone on with some of the other tunes. I did however comment that this customer's results were actually better than the results you posted in the first post on the other thread and in my mind that is very cool!!! I also didn't want this poster thinking that he's going to get 100hp at the wheels with just the piggy. We appreciate all the work you have done and personally I can't wait to put my order down on an Attache + FMIC!

The +100whp quote was from the dyno results we achieved on the downpipe/fmic map of +106whp over stock figures last weekend.

Great numbers indeed and I'm hoping to get close with an Attache + FMIC! I'll be holding off on the DPs for a while because I'm keeping myself on a budget and I prefer the safer/more consistent combo of Attache + FMIC over Attach + DPs.

yeah fmic first is a good idea cause it prolongs your power output. attache abd fmic combo is good for 378whp but adding the downpipes picks up 15-20whp over a large part of the power curve.

Yep, they were FMIC+DP numbers, that's what the guy I quoted asked about. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I agree that I always like to see third party confirmation. It is worth noting that customers have generally seen even higher deltas than Helix's "tuner dynos" in most cases, though.
