You explained your own question. What more do you want if you spoke to the master in charge?

I heard the same thing as AU335. Eric was under a car and said he'd call me back. I'm sitting here with a serious case of "I drove a JB2HR car last week and now my car feels slow as a civic EX" blue balls.

I don't want mine until they retune for DPs with a proper intake. You can make that extra few HP with the extra air being sucked in through a more free flowing intake. Plus these are the mods on my car and it would be a bit unfortunate to send my Attache back to philly to get it re-tuned if I just got it the week before.

They have already proven that an intake gives no performance gains at this level.

I thought they said that an intake provides gains but not in a way that needs to be tuned for....

Well they did say that an intake doesnt need any tuning but also proved that there were no beneficial gains to an open air intake as opposed to the stock airbox. One of the reasons they scrapped the idea of building one. They are in the business of producing and selling performance parts, not pretty things in the engine bay they are willing to take $400-700 of your money for. Thats one of the biggest reasons I respect them.

Understood....

I look forward to seeing some track results from customer using this product. The one dyno I saw from a customer looked very promising...

Sounds good man, keep me updated on how it goes. I am very glad to see another reasonably priced piggyback come on to the scene....

all maps were tested with factory airbox and either an intake(helix prototype) or the airbox top removed so you will be fine

well... last weekend when dynoing the fmic/attache/downpipe combo we found the limit to the factory airbox and while peak power didnt change in this configuration power above 6000 rpm or so did. we have addressed this in the downpipe and downpipe/fmic tune maps and they(tune maps) will work perfectly fine in regards to boost and air fuels. just keepin ya up to date homey

Right, which is why I said "at this level".

while our intake design was pretty cool(literally) we have abandoned it for the time being as the intake landscape is slightly oversaturated. we are shifting our R&D time over to the BIG turbo system.
