Well, I picked mine up locally so it was cheaper.. But there are people that are selling theirs for $450-475, even $500.. If you keep looking in the FS section your bound to find one sooner or later.. unless your wanting to drop the $600 on a new one, which IMO would still be worth it after experiencing what its like

Yea I'm quite the impulse buyer. But to be honest I've been thinking about tuning my car since Christmas 2007. I just can't wait anymore. I need more power.

just installed it yesterday, pretty sweet, feels a lot smoother, the extra hp and torque is noticeable but it's not like going from a 4 banger to the 335, surprise the extra hp and torque comes on so smooth.....

I heard you're supposed to drive it hard for a few days to let it adapt. I can't help but drive it hard everyday, with a few minutes cooldown, of course.

Was it because of the Dinan reflash?! that sucks! well, since BMW supports Dinan, I'm assuming Dinan/BMW would repair it...

I hope so for the customers sake. The one I know about for sure was done at an independent Dinan facility so I wonder if that will make a difference.

Never had dinan, but wouldn't it obviously be covered under the warranty that dinan provides? Question I would have in return would be IF something happened to a turbo that had the SSTT who would have to pay for that repair? I think that answer is pretty obvious also...

Not trying to put down the SSTT or anything, i was plenty happy with it in my car and felt very comfortable with everything ive heard, but i have no doubt in my mind if something did happen i'd be looking at an uphill battle to get anyone else to play for my replacement turbo besides myself.
