For the rears alone I've seen or been told 34206797600, 34206797598, 34216764655 (I believe these are stock rotors), 34216775287, 34216763827 and others so I wasn't sure which ones were the ones needed. I originally ordered the 598 rotors which didn't fit and my mechanic had tried unsuccesfully to source another set. Wasn't trying to be a dick, I was asking because I wasn't aware that there was a difference and didn't want to wind up ordering yet another incorrect rotor.
The few places I looked to order also had the wrong part number provided by EOS (34206797598) as having fit. Now that you've pointed me in the right direction I've since seen that the part number 3420697600 is listed as specific to 335/435 models, that I hadn't seen where I originally ordered. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. |

Hi there guys, been reading this thread for months now and finally decided to undergo the conversion myself.
I also have been reading a similar thread on a german e90 forum, and the way to go in Germany seems to be with the excentric bushes that Kosmic mentioned a few pages back in combination with e60 530-550i brake disk. The guys there swear itīs PnP conversion, without having to mill the calipers or widening the holes on the carrier in any way, I reckon Kosmic just mounted them in the wrong direction, thus the wheel carrier hole expansion. There is even guys selling the whole kit ready to mount with the bushes already pressed in. Anyhow, will try it and return to you with the results and some more detailed pics, as soon as the calipers come back from the paint shop. I decided to go red, I believe it will be a nice contrast on my daily 335d bitch! |

Hi Mate
Do you have a link to where you got the bushes?

I lost nights and nights googling until I found someone that sells them.
Hereīs the link of the guy that sells the complete kits, I barely convinced him to sell me only the bushes. Itīs no webshop, more like a german craigslist https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-...86983-223-4431 If I may recommend, wait a few more days until the bushes are delivered to me, Iīll measure them and post the measurements here, so that everyone can have them custom made for themselfs, the shipping from Germany to Australia would kill you |

Im actually thinking of using them on the front....I have e92 M3 rear carriers... Why is that relevant?
The e92 M3 rear carrier can take the M4 rear discs (370mm) and these rear callipers plug and play. That means that i can bolt up the carriers buy some discs and plug and play m4 rear rear brakes. The problem will be though that ill have the same 370mm disc size front and rear...No bueno! So how do i then balance it out? The e92 M3 front carrier has totally different spacing and needs a bracket just to fit these. HOWEVER! The e92 non M front carrier can take 370mm discs bolt on but to fit the m4 Front discs itll need 5mm eccentric bushings to clear. Therefore to fit the complete M4 brakes on an non m e9x you need The callipers, m4 discs, 4x5mm eccentric bushes. feuer posted a link to a Russian forum where this has been done but im not 100% if they spaced it 5mm. Edit here it is F80 brakes on an F30 https://www.drive2.ru/l/9915499/

For those of us that are doing this at home you can use a spot face machining bit to machine down the rear calliper
They go up to 1-1/8 size here but im sure there are others should you need it in a larger size http://www.vernondevices.com/pdfs/SpotnSinkBits.pdf I like tools...lol

Has anyone here installed E60 535i rear rotors made by Zimmerman? I'm wondering if the European version of those rotors has a different offset than the US version since this person was able to install them without milling the rear calipers:
https://www.e90post.com/forums/showp...postcount=1025 Those rotors seem to be unavailable in the US unfortunately and I'm wondering if the one without the holes is the same size... |

Finally got around to do the front and rear job with OEM front 370 mm discs, Zimmerman 535 345mm rears (custom to match dimpled/slotted design of fronts) + M3 master. Feuer, I could not thank you enough for your help on this forum and with me personally. Forgive the dirty car, but absolutely love how they turned out. Agree that very doable with typical hand-tools and just take your time when you do it and it should be no problem.
Thanks again, cheers!

Hi there guys, sorry it took so long, but I am kind of busy with my other toy, the 35d is in his well deserved summer sleep
Dimensions of the bushes as promised, +/- 0,01mm doesnīt play any difference as you have to set them up on the car before pressing them in. The calipers are being powder coated as we speak, I decided to go for the red option, as orange is too childish, and blue/gold are to be seen on every corner. P.S. maybe I missed it in all those pages, has anyone mounted the 370mm calipers in combination with the M225 or S230?? Last edited by Firechicken; 07-03-2018 at 01:43 PM.. |
