And turbos (assuming you are talking N54) are more like $1000.00 and it's a few hour job, N55 turbos very rarely fail because BW.

At 19 I had plenty of money for mods, maybe you shouldn't generalize so much. My daughter is 19 and has over 4k saved from working at Chik fil a
part time and some of our local youngsters are the same, so while they are probably not average, they are common, more so in the BMW community I would think as well.

And the 1/4 mile is a great ruler for performance, whether you drag race or not. And the 335i is a great drag car for beginners. Tons of potential for a cheap price. And N55 cars are in the 10's on upgraded stock turbos. You just don't know what you are talking about.

And there is no difference in ease between working on an NA car versus a Turbocharged one. Unless you are a noob.

And I have been looking for a second 335i and I have found a few well maintained examples with a laundry list of records and thousand in recent maintenance. All you need to make the right choice is proper, prior, planning.
just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber ....

so your daughter and her friends have 4k saved and they can afford to buy a 10-12 k cash car that would probably required 2-3 k in maintenance at any time ... wow

No difference in maintenance between a turbocharge car and a NA car

turbo just a few hour job?

dude , there is not way you are 43 ... You can not be this dumb at that age .. Then again you had more than 15 cars , so wasting money and make wrong decisions is pretty familiar for you...

You want to talk about a good beginner drag race car , maybe a mustang is a better option. You want to talk a good beginner track car , I can tell you the 328 is a much better option too.

Whatever , I m not going to argue the obvious here. Lets just leave it there , not wasting my time anymore here

It's funny to watch you waste your time here, please don't leave us now. Please tell us again how much of a baller you are and how fast your 328i is,
