If you keep having issues, contact bimmergeeks support. They were super helpful for me in the past

I didn't notice the search option... will try it! I did do a backup, but it won't let me load. I get an error trying to read it... heart sunk when that popped up the first time.

IIRC, the TPMS module does not show, just the three items in the KOMBI module. Or I'm not looking in the right spot.

As I mentioned, I jumped into the deep end without really fully mastering it...
this kinda' sucks.
The tpms module settings are in a diff category. Middle left on the Home Screen.
From what I remember, ftm won’t be enabled if tpms module is present and 2VB is shown.

Try the search option in the VO list.
You can also click “edit raw” and it will show the lines of all VOs you have. You can manually delete the $2VB from the lines of VOs text.
I did that before but bimmergeeks told me that was risky and I shouldn’t be edited raw, lol. Worked for me though.
Sucks about the backup!
As said above too, you can reach out to bimmergeeks and see what they say or advise.

Fixed!!!!

I contacted BimmerGeeks as recommended, and they walked me through it.
Long/short is that I re-wrote the factory code to the three DSC/IDrive/Cluster modules individually rather than just overall like I first did. Then the $2VB showed back up, and I was then able to uncheck it and save it. It re-wrote to four different control units, and asked me to confirm... that did not happen the first time, so for whatever reason, that was the missing ingredient in the secret sauce!!!
So stoked! I was losing sleep over this!

Odd it didn’t ask the first time!
Down side to ftm is that it doesn’t show you which tire is low on air compared to TPMS, it just shows low tire.

Yeah but does that matter? If you've got a flat you're going nowhere regardless of which wheel it is!

Well done for getting it sorted, Strada. So good when it goes right!

Right, that would be a nice feature. As it's ABS sensor based, it seems like it would be able to state which sensor is showing the discrepancy and triggering. But I am okay with it as-is so that I don't have to mess with installing new TPMS sensors in the wheels! Plus I'll eventually go up to nicer wheels someday, and don't have to mess with changing them over or getting new ones.

FWIW this is the confirmation screen that popped up with this second go-around that didn't show the first time:

Can't explain why or what I did differently, but it's working great! Still can't re-load the saved profiles, which is a non-issue for this luckily!

Next up: ALARM! Now that I'm feeling cocky, would adding $302 to the VO give me all the alarm functionality? It blinks and beeps already, and the tilt sensor went off once so that must work. I guess just the interior sensor and hood switch could be turned on?

I found this great review, but it's written for NCS coding: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=504338

Yup, that’s the screen that should’ve prompted you to re code affected modules.
You can add the alarm VO. I added it just to have it in the VO list. Just make sure that screen pops up to re code affected modules.

Saves time by going straight to the tire that’s marked as low instead of checking each tire.
Individual tire sensors are good when you’re driving and you get the warning. You can pull into a gas station with the low tire closest to the air compressor so you’re not pulling the hose all around your car.

Having a tire shred to pieces, then yea, it doesn’t matter.
Both systems work well anyways.

Added the $302 and and then had access to the alarm module in the 330!

The only part that wasn't pretty much automatic was the hood switch. I manually coded that one to active:

Checked that the interior sensor is working and now the hood is as well!

Question, I was just trying to use protools to code my angel eyes to stay on as my drl but could not figure it out. My car is a pre-lci e90 but I swapped in new lci headlights with custom angel eyes. Has anyone done this before any help is appreciated.

Anyone know anybody in Whittier that knows how to code? Had a buddy of mine try to code out an air bag light and he messed up and now my car doesn’t even try to turn on and all the dash lights flicker. Much appreciated
