Rough Idle during this cold weather???

Has anyone's 335 been idling rough when starting the car in the morning? Today was the worst this week. I started the car and it was very rough. Car was shaking side to side like it was a muscle car hot rod. It felt like it was going to die. I remember the dealer stating that "BMW's have been designed to drive cold" and don't need to "warm up." So took his advice to heart and after driving for a few minutes it seemed to have sorted itself out, but i still don't think the car should do that...

I do have an apt for next week to bring it in and have everything checked out but just was curious if anyone else has had similar issues with their vehicle?

I don't notice any shaking or anything. I did notice my gearbox didn't like the 14'f weather at all.

Gearbox and clutch take a few minutes to warm up. Aside from that, all has been normal for me the past few days.
