eBay index 12 injectors

Any one use this exact seller? About to pull the trigger on these. Lifetime warranty remanned injectors. I know the new recall just came out but I called and my car does not apply.

eBay injectors are a 100% gamble and usually relabeled as index 12 even though they are an earlier revision and used.

Last guy that posted about these noticed they all had the same coding values and had to replace them with FCP units due to missfires.

If buying from eBay, buy from bmw doctor. They are brand new. Unfortunately we can't cheap out on injectors. 1 alone cost over 200 dollars but its kinda worth it.

Not worth it IMO. Especially if you're gonna keep the car. Incorrectly coded/spraying injectors can dilute oil as well, and that can get really expensive. Might save a couple $$ at this level of prob, but the next level you're opening yourself up to is very expensive

Why would you spend that much and not buy from FCP

If you are tuned, even if you aren't tuned for that matter, it's crazy not to have a lifetime warranty on injectors when owning an N54

Because I am a glutton for punishment, I've experienced this multiple times. Twice I've had the original index numbers scratched out and printed over with a "12." Another time they each had the same coding values (578 229) and flooded the top of my engine with gas. Here's an example of the altered index numbers:
