Who's Putting on their Summers in the GTA?
Just had a look at the 14 day forecast and we are going to see a sustained stretch of 10-15 degree daytime highs....way above normal and about a month early.
Question will you chance it? Is there one more cold snap/snow for 2012 or is what little winter we had over?

First wknd in April, it's the long wknd, good time to change the tires and do some spring cleaning on the car. Plus there's still a risk of freezing rain in March still!

there is always one last hurrah (the big one) before summer comes in.
if the temperature is consistently above 10 degrees, it is time to change to summer tires. in the meantime, keep your tires inflated properly to avoid excess heat being generated. Quote:

I am not in a rush to do it, I wouldn't be surprised if there will be a sudden big dump of snow. The thing is that night time temps are still pretty cold.
If I am not mistaken last year I think someone went to the ditch cause he switch to summers right away after "spring like weather" then suddenly snow came.

I'll be putting mine on as soon as they arrive. But that won't be for another month or so. I can't wait. But I'll be putting insurance back on the car probably by the end of the month. Can't stand driving my beat up civic lol

Good to see I'm not the only one planning on putting them on in April too. Decide to play it safe. A little wear on the winters is way better than driving out of control on the 401.

Holding off until first week of April, I have a feeling when I change them, there's going to be a freak snow storm or something. S--t always happens to me...hahaha
