Have this weird issue with my wipers. Tried changing the fuses, the relay, the wiper motor. Upon switching them on, nothing happens. The motor doesn’t even make a sound.

Upon checking the wires leading to the motor, I discovered that the wires were grounding each other (stabilizer bar to shock mounts) smashed the wiring and exposed them, recovered them and put it back. Still doesn’t work. Local mechanic says it can be the clockspring (the windshield wiper switch or multi control switch?)

There is NO codes present, or shadow

How can I diagnose this? Could it actually be the clockspring? If replaced does it need coding? I have ISTA, protools, BimmerCode.

My windshield washer jets also do not work
