Question Who's still on their original injectors?

With all the stories of misfires and bad injectors, I want to look at things from a different perspective. I'm curious to know if certain index injectors were more reliable than others.

I will start. My car is an 02/2007 build and was not included in any of the injectors recalls. Still has index-1 injectors that it came with it and still going strong with 84k miles. Been cobb tuned for the last 49k miles.

Am I an exception? I'd like to hear from others if you are still on original injectors without issues:
-your build date
-the index injectors you have
-no of miles
-any pertinent mods

EDIT:

Here's a summary of people still on original injectors, definitely something to be said about the early 2007 models with index 0/1 injectors:

(FYI - Original injector recall was for vehicles built between 04/02/2007 through 10/31/2008)

335Junkie - 10/2006, 151k miles - (must be index 0 based on build date)
Fedorov - 11/2006, 54k miles - index 0
Sgop335 - 12/2006, 93k miles - index 0
Operator Mo - 12/2006, 79.3k miles - (must be index 0 based on build date)
nitehawk - 02/2007, 84k miles - index 1
Boland01 - 03/2007, 82k miles - (must be index 1 based on build date)
Blaster400 - 03/2007, 26k miles - index 1
nikitino25 - 03/2007, 56k miles - (must be index 1 based on build date)
V8bait - 04/2007, 84k miles - index 1?
scottp999 - 04/2007, 23k miles - index 1?
N0Chill 335i - 07/2007
///Mposter - 2007 MY, 53k miles - index 1
DennisPacMo - 2007 MY - index 1
stanlalee - 2007 MY, 157k miles
bizzleb109 - 2007 MY, 131k miles - index 2
1slw335 - 01/2008, 88k miles
veer90 - 02/2009, 90k miles - index 7
nukezero - 05/2009, 124k miles
ttribe - 06/2009, 109k miles

Here's a summary of people that have changed at least some of the injectors:

ritzzzzzwik - 02/2007 - Bank 1 replaced at 110k miles with index 12 (cyl 1&2 were leaking). Bank 2 are original.
Neil07 - 2009 MY - 1 injector replaced at 65k miles - index 7
titium - late 2009 MY - 3 injectors replaced prior to 80k, other 3 are index 7 (one potentially leaking)
idk_alex - 2010 MY - injectors changed at 75k miles
BayMoWe335 - 2010 MY - injectors changed at 35k miles under warranty

MY2010, just got injectors replaced at 75K miles. The car always had a smoking problem, went in to get the turbos done and it was the injectors causing it.

07 with 53,000miles index -01, and I'm not sure if they are leaking or not. I do have extra burble than normal. I might change them out when my single kit comes in.
I did ask the dealer about my 335i injector "recall" this past weekend when I had my X3 in for inspection . He looked it up and it was only showing two campaigns , turbos, and hpfp, which were completed years ago.

3/07 build with original Index-1 injectors. Only 26K miles on car. I ran FBO with RB's for a couple of years before ST upgrade last year. Injectors are still going strong.

I've considered upgrading to Index-12 injectors as preventative maintenance so this thread is very interesting to me. I think the early model year injectors had less problems than later versions.

11/06 (First gen.!) :-D
87000 kilometers.
Have had the jb+, the procede "light" don't remember it's real name.
Now the COBB with custom tune, not heavily tuned, about 380-390 HP according to tuner.

Only real problem I've had was waterpump.

Yes, this is what I would like to determine. For instance, all the refurbished injectors that you see on eBay are all typically index 7-10. So it would appear that the earlier index injectors (not recalled) are less problematic.

Keep the info coming guys! We should be able to make some correlation with enough data.

This is an abnormal amount of 07 cars with factory injectors, minus the dme failure that took one. Makes me wonder if revisions were for cost cutting first, not design improvements.

I have a 2007 and a smattering of -04 to -06 injectors, still going strong at just under 130k. I bought the car with 50k on it and haven't changed an injector yet. Soon....
