E92 Muffler Delete questions

Hello guys. I want to get my mufflers removed from my 2007 e92 335i. I am wondering what will replace the part where the muffler is, and where can I buy that part. Also, do I have to get aftermarket tips or I can keep the current tips? I just dont understand if the pipe is going to be replaced from the mufflers to the tips and replaced with a regular pipe or the is it going to be replaced from the mufflers to the exit with the tips as well.. i appreciate the answers guys thanks

There are several ways to do a muffler delete. You can pretty much cut and weld the exhaust any way you want. You could just have the muffler chopped out and replaced with pipe, while retaining your factory tips. You could also replace everything from the muffler back.
Keep in mind that the e90 has an additional resonator that the e92 does not have. A muffler delete might be really obnoxious with tons of rasp and drone. My suggestion would be to replace your muffler with a louder one like magnaflow rather than just deleting it.

I hate all aftermarket exhaust sounds. They dont sound original, I will have a look at the magnaflow muffler though, thanks

You can always try the performance exhaust from BMW, doesnt sound anything like aftermarket options, and if thats too expensive, you can always do the PE mod.

I made the mistake of deleting my muffler, didn't last a week with that configuration. Drone was unbearable for me, had headaches and ears hummed after driving. I am catless now and it is perfect, just the sound I wanted.
