Moving on from E90 to a ....

Cadillac! After driving the 328 F30/F32 (including M sport) and the Q50, the Cadillac ATS drove the best and felt the most like my E90. The depreciation on the ATS is very high and there are great CPO deals to be had. The 2.0 turbo may not be as fast as the 328 or the Q50 but the overall road feel is exceptional. Don't knock it until you tried it.
BTW, my E90 328xi is going to my daughter for her birthday, so it is still in the house and I will still be lurking around here.

Don't take this to heart, but your daughter is going to wreck that E90 real quick. Especially if she is a new driver. A base model E90 328i is already much lower (less ground clearance) than a base model F30 328i. She'll be scrapping the front bumper on pretty much every parking lot ramp and concrete parking stoppers. Also the heavy ass steering on the E90 doesn't help either. I'm from "nu yawk" too.

congrats on your new ride. I was a little tempted with some of the pricing i've seen on CPO ATS-V.

I'm intrigued as to who is actually buying these. The only new Cadillacs I've seen in my neighborhood were comped to a hip hop producer.

Congrats on the ATS. I think you made the best choice out of the bunch for sure. The ATS would be on my list as an E90 replacement, as well.

Cadillac did their homework when it came to creating the ATS, and they knew what they were doing when they purposely mirrored the E9x series (it was a good thing IMO).

Lol why would she wreck it even if she's a new driver? It's an all wheel drive 328i. And your comment about ride height doesn't apply here because he has an e90 xi and those sit very high

The X model E9X hardly sit any higher than a non X model E9X. Any F30 is much higher off the ground than an E90. My partner has an F30 328 xdrive.

I have made peace with the likelihood that my beloved E90 may not survive unscathed. She served me well for 10 years and was a joy to drive until the end. I really like the ATS but there is something about that inline 6 that will never be replaced.

I like the ATS, I've always wondered about the long term reliability. Report back later, and post some pics.

2016 MDX because now with wife and a baby. so need space for stroller and big carseat.

But currently driving the 430c loaner because of the recall and it handles no better than the MDX. it floats too much, unlike the e90. I am blaming it on the RTFs

Nice pick up. I’d like to try one of these.

And your e90 could go no better place than your daughter - they’re super safe!
