again, like i said - i registered my battery using BMWLogger... however, the tech at the dealer told me that he didnt think it was actually imperative if you were getting exact same battery - thats all. the real takeaway is to buy a OEM battery and the cable proper cable on amazon for 30 dollars and DIY.

my battery finally went after almost 8 years...

I went to Battery Warehouse in Leesburg and got the upgraded Exide battery for $150. They had a few other options that were as high as $208, but it really wasn't necessary.

Oleg is the owner of BW in Leesburg and he's a good guy.
