Best place to buy M-sport steering wheel cover or can the coating be fixed ?

As the title states

I'm looking at the cheapest place to purchase a new cover or have the coating repaired. If it can be done

BMW M-Sport Steering Wheel Cover - Genuine BMW 32307845527

The paints peeling on mine

Thanks

Any of the online sellers such as Schmiedmann https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/catn-or?q=32307845527

Or I'd highly recommend Cotswald BMW in the UK. Message them on here: CotswoldBMWMini

not sure how bad shipping would be from the states but I have an msport wheel i just replaced with one from the m3. mine is in good condition. wouldn't mind helping to find a new home for it just to get it out of my garage.

I bought the replacement V section from getbmwparts dot com a few years back when I first purchased my car - the left hand side near the buttons and lower side were peeling. From memory there were a few replacement options including suede and carbon covered versions. Not cheap though for a piece of plastic - just checked my email and was USD$127 back in 2013.

Might be easier to remove plastic piece and plastidip or coat with some 3m?

FYI, get the part number for an LCI car, the coating was changed and LCI doesn't flake off like PRE LCI cars coatings around the wheel and window switches.

Just check it will fit first.

That’s interesting, explains why my 2011 has perfect wheel and window switch plastics, when 2009s I looked at with the same kms were a mess.
