Thanks! Yeah that's the issue I have if I choose to go M3 conversion, I won't cut any corners and go full in. Apart of me feels if I do the rep M3 hood and fenders, they won't be as aggressive looking as I'd hope. I can't seem to find any photos of either one coupled with the M Sport front bumper! I think the OEM M3 side skirts will do a lot to the aggressive look without looking mix matches. They're virtually the same as the M Sport sides just more exaggerated

I will check, I got them off eBay. My body shop said they were a breeze to install that’s how good fitment was. As for my front bumper it is the stock bumper. I added a lower lip and a then lower diffuser underneath that. I will prob switch to a M3 bumper end of the year. My paint is in perfect condition so I can’t really justify replacing the bumper just yet. I’m doing some track days and expect the bumper to get some chips n dings. I will try and upload some pics, but been having issues. If you pm me your number I can email or text you some. I have tons.

Yeah that's the issue and If you do the full conversion to actual oem m3 front end would you make the rear wider to match the front?

Along with all the engine and exhaust upgrades for better breathing and power.

My Non oem fenders fit perfectly. I currently run the lates AA tune with their cat back exhaust system. I am waiting to install AA headers. One thing I would point out is with the upgraded power and stress I have gone through coils and plugs a bit quicker then normal.

Good luck with the build and keep us updated!
That’s definitely good of to hear as those types of parts are normally such a crap shoot. Let’s see some pics!

Weird, I use Imgur, too. Haven't uploaded anything in some time, tho.

You just used a message board link, right?

Yup but it wants pic in URL form. I have an iPhone 6, not sure why it won’t access my photos to post them?

The M3 e91 conversions I've seen didn't do anything to the rear fenders. (At least that's what my findings have found) just modified an e91 rear to fab with an M3 rear in the bottom. Actually, I've seen a few that use the M sport rear bumper and use a custom M3 diffuser. IMO that looks amazing, but not OEM.

I think the wide M3 fenders with the wagon OEM end look good actually as is.

Ok, I've thought long and hard and I know two inevitably facts: I will constantly be worried about what people think of me only having M3 style fenders and hood on my car. And I won't be satisfied with that and just the ESS for additional power. I've decided to go all in and start on the full M3 conversion. My plan will be body first (front end) since insurance will be covering hail damage, while keeping my eyes out for donor vehicles for parts swaps, retrofits and hopefully a good donor motor.

Bare with me on this journey. I want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row and the right game plan before really jumping in but I think this is the only way I'll really be content.

Just an update. Decided to go ahead and go with the M3 swap. Current I'm in phase one with all the front end conversion parts headed to the shop. Also purchased the F30 335 brembo kit to convert front and rears. Was going to powder coat but people are scaring me about taking the brembos apart just need to figure out how to ensure i do it without screwing them up. Still trying to source the right M3 for interior and powder train swap. Also going to roll and pull the rears as much as my shop can and use the Msport bumper with this diffuser instead of rear quarters. At least initially we will see how I like it.

Front end should be done this month. I'm keeping it all Deep Sea Blue, hoping it all turns out the way I envision!

Your shifter looks OEM, which is really nice. Is that custom or a kit you can buy?

Yeah it's from Motivemods. DCT retrofit shifter kit. It's pricey but I think worth the upgrade. The stock one really dates the interior.

I think its a dated design as well, I've been looking for a quality kit to buy - thanks for letting me know!

Last weekend I'm M-Sport, I will miss the looks really. I love the front end but the M3 overall is so much better. Can't wait to complete phase one. I will also be installing M3 OEM side skirts and shadowline trim with the front end conversion.

Paint correction to fix swirl city as well

Thanks! Yeah I have them in Sumitomos, 245/35 in front and 275/30 in back. They are a thinner tire and for the most part fit great. No rolling and don't rub in the back, but got into a situation where I had to put 3 grown ass men back there from the airport and rubbed over bumps and turns. Might think about rolling the fenders. I'm refinishing the 285s and putting Blizzaks on for winter wheels.
Nice work!

I have a LCI E91 xdrive as well and I have a 245 35 19 square set up with 666m M4 competition pack wheels. I wanted to go wider in the rear like you did but had cold feet after reading a few threads. So my question to you is have you experienced any issues with the xdrive system, Speedo, transfer case, etc. with your setup?

Yes, I had to roll the fenders slightly in the rear because I was rubbing with a full load in the back. Mind you also, that the sumitomos are pretty thin tires compared to other summers so going with anything else might need a more aggressive roll.

Are you doing a full M3 conversion (i.e. front and rear subframes, S65, 6MT/DCT, driveshaft, diff, etc, etc)?
