Hood fitment - what years?
The hood on my new-to-me 2007 E91 has a ding here and there. Just so happens that a 2009 328 near me of the exact same color (4 door, not wagon, if it matters) is being parted out, with a nice looking hood. Will it fit? I'm seeing all kinds of conflicting information out there; like it might depend on production date!

In case you're curious about using an 09+ LCI front bumper here's a good thread to look at
https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=861485 Everything needed is listed below, minus the headlights which supposedly don't need to be replaced unless you want to improve the look. You can also ignore the rear tail lights and bootlid/trunk as well. "New Bumper New Bonnet New Bootlid New LED Rear lights New Kidney grills, center grill and foglight grills New underbody deflectors" I think by underbody deflectors he is referring to the splash guard underneath but it also looks like he went with an M-Sport bumper which I believe is slightly different than non m-sport splash guards or at least there are two pieces instead of one. |

The grille is different on the 09 and up hoods, the 06-08 have the top of the grilles in the hood, were the 09 and up don't.

Thanks, all. I think if I were to get into all of this, I'd add an M3 front clip. Probably easier, and cheaper, to just get the existing hood repaired.
