it appears to be an adjustable vacuum type? vs. like the TiAl BOV where you have to put in the correct vacuum psi spring.

Assuming ECS would deliver with the appropriate setting?

This looks awfully familiar LOL...Guys try doing a search on "z - s h i f t" without the spaces...

I had a chargepipe and BOV similar tht was the brand listed above...although the chargepipe CAN be used with success it wasnt the best fit with the cold side FMIC piping and would always blow off for me...The BOV is completely useless...Hope that helps or at least saves you guys from some future issues and hassle

I know a lot of the guys that work for ECS and the GM drives a 135i with one of these on it. From the feedback I've received, the valve is actually pretty solid but I haven't been in the car to be able to say yes or no.

I'm most likely going to try this charge pipe out. My mindset is if the valve blows, I'll hack the flange out and Tial it.

its a solid piece at stock boost and probably a little higher. the zee shift ones (which look like the same made in china pieces) would blow off at ~15psi because of the cheap silicone connector and couplers(sp?) at that psi id probably look into getting a Greddy BOV i wouldnt trust that generic bov. so youre still looking at about $400+

I'm pretty sure this has the same flange on it as the Greddy valve. I think I even have a Greddy valve sitting around somewhere that I might throw on there. The 135i that has this set up on it runs at least 15 psi and hasn't reported any leaks however you are correct. This is a China BOV and like everything else China, untrustworthy.

Ive had the same/similar BOV kit and ended up selling to buy a ER chargepipe...That should say enough about this pipe...Trust me im also someone who was excited about saving money buying this pipe instead of one of the more $$ ones...And it didnt end up working out...FACT

BTW if any of you still decide to buy it and need a flange for a Synapse BOV...Let me know I have a Greddy flange for this pipe to Synapse BOV..Will sell for dirt cheap
