Does he do Walnut blasting? I found a local guy that a lot of people have recommended but he works from home, I don't feel comfortable leaving my car at some dudes house.

What is the consensus on Bavarian Auto? I want to do my waterpump & thermostat as preventative maintenance (my 06 330i is at 95,000 miles now).

I have never used them. Talked with them on the phone but that is about the extent of my dealings.

He definitely does walnut blasting. Even includes an oil change with the price.

Rhine West worked on my cammed e36m3 and did a custom alignment (full suspension mods), pricey BUT absolutely great to work with.

BTW, Hi from Windcrest, just picked up a 330i MT sport pkg.

8926 Broadway. Jon was a phenomenal SA. I was lucky they even took my car in, as they don't take "project" cars. Jon took on my electrical issue, TRM tuned DME failed after 3mon of running perfectly my Schrick cammed/m50 IM swapped/full exhaust/lightened flywheel e36m3... shameless plug for my old m3

Once he figured out it was the DME, and not something I had wired wrong when I put in the motor, I sent my spare DME to TRM, and was back in business.

Have seen a lot of nice E9x's on the road lately. Guess the clear weather after the rain brought them out.

Well it tried to kill me

Sadly, my 09 335i tried to kill me today. Heading to work this morning and all of a sudden half engine light/ limp mode in the fast lane. Was thankful that traffic was attentive this morning. Was able to get off the highway and had a strong fuel smell. Also had fuel puddled on top of engine cover near oil fill cap. Had to get a tow back to the shop. I am guessing here that a fuel line or injector went to the parts room in the sky. Shoot maybe even HPFP went and over pressured the system if that could happen.
Update, Repaired and found a fuel line busted.

Not too expensive of a fix I gather? Glad they fixed it.

Actually pretty cheap. $60.00 out the door. The dealer covered tow and labor. Cant complain.

Recently have been getting half engine reduced power light while under moderate acceleration. My carly app does not show any codes. Changed plugs yesterday hoping it was the issue with no luck. Now thinking maybe a crack in the charge pipe since light goes away upon restart.

first thing I thought too, boost / vac. Strange that its not throwing any codes ? Have you tried running the carly before restarting after the fault ?

I have tried checking carly before restarting with same results. I as well find it odd that no codes of any kind. Shoot, maybe my app is acting up. I do think I will check for some vac and boost line leakage.
I have intentionally repeated the results. I can put the hammer down and no light, its just that moderate accel that does this and only at speeds between 60-80 and accel does it give me the notification.

5/32 lines behind oil filter housing was the culprit. Dont get why it wouldnt have thrown a code but, glad it was a painless fix.
