Just got a walnut blast done, will adding an oil catch can prevent buildup at all?

Haven't read all of the replies, but the first few made me want to clarify that RB has 2 different PCV options. You want the external configuration plumbed to the right Mishimoto OCC...not all of Mishimoto's cans are compatible .

A catch can on the vacuum side will do a better job reducing carbon build up than on the boost side. This is because your engine is in vacuum mode like >90% of the time, and the vacuum side PCV dumps right into the intake runners in the cylinder head. You don't need to plug the holes in the cylinder head when you "externalize" the vacuum side PCV, but it doesn't hurt.
