Aftermarket valve cover
My wife's e92 325i has developed a leak at the valve cover. Seeing BMW covers are prone to leaking and cost nearly £400, has anyone used a aftermarket valve cover. They cost a 1/3 of the BMW part. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Unless you can tell that the cover itself is cracked, then it's most likely just the cover gasket that's failed. These harden over time, particularly if the oil isn't changed very frequently. Loads of 'how to' videos on YouTube...
