Alternatively, the Zimmermann disks I got at the same time for pretty much the same price as my mates Mtec disks have fared much better with regards to the coating.. https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/...%5D=zimmermann It's worth waiting til they have the 18-20% discount, makes a nice difference, it comes around fairly often. I went drilled up front with plain disks on the rear with ATE pads all round, at the time it came to about £320 whereas my mate paid about the same and got those crappy Mintex pads (don't touch them, they are cheap for a reason)..... |

Thanks sirlee
Too late, I bought the disks before I read your reply Good news though, is that I got the plain ones not black, so I won't get the sticky mess hopefully. Haven't ordered pads yet, so I'll take your advice on board there |

i've just got Pagid discs and pads to go on all round, new paid pads and retaining clips, and a sensor for the rear, good to hear the coating is good.
i took off the OEM pads and they say BMW TEXSTAR on them... |
