Running Devils own meth nozzle without scew in filter?

Anyone ever try to run a devils own meth nozzle without the screw in filter? I can see where this may be a slight restriction and I don't need a filter in the nozzle....have one in the tank.

Hey Rob,

Ive had the tank for a few months now, and im starting to have a reeeeeeally hard time opening the top to fill it with meth. Are you having the same problem? I literally have to use a screw driver to pry it open.

ROFLMAO! Same thing I had to do...the task when you seal it kinda pulls up and flexes and over time stays that way like a fuel cell dies. All you have to do is grind the tabs down on the top you will see the 3 metal tabs...just grind then down a bit. I did this and open them it with one hand now. I was getting so pissed when I had to pry it lol!

Also with the filter meth flow was at 270 on the JB4 gauge high-Jack, without the filter it is at 300 instantly.

I would keep it installed. If anything down stream of the tank produces FOD then your screwed. Port the filter core or go bigger if you need to

I am running a DO14 so can't go bigger. Only thing down stream is south in tank filter...with me being 4-AN fitting with stainless I think I am safe.

My experience with meth. I've seen little chips from the pump, random oring material etc. I've always found stuff in the nozzle filter even with 2 inline filters. If you have a D014 is recommend 2 smaller nozzles.

I had 2 smallernozzles and meth response was not add good....with the selonoid connected directly to the nozzle holder the response is great....can't do that with dual nozzle. Dual nozzle will allow for great optimization though.

I'd leave it in. I dont think the extra 10% of flow is worth the risk especially if you have adequate flow for your setup. Those filters do catch more then you think. They are the last line in defense

Man you give up to easy. Hook solenoid to a Tee fitting with 2 1inch hoses connecting each nozzle which would roughly put you at 10&2 O'clock positions. ;-)

LoL you got 2 filters. Alcohol or meth is pretty pure so dont see why you need so much filtering. I checked my aem filter and after 1 year it was clean.

We removed my nozzles and they were clogged to shit last time. Little filtering never hurt nobody, my flow is still 270+ at WOT
