Double Interested to know how your trans holds up to this type of torque, those are just about perfect final numbers for a DD.

hey guys don't wanna nick the thread, but is any advantage to have MT over AT, or AT over MT, when you are hitting such high numbers?

Easier to protect the trans with MT via a new clutch. I really hope OPs 6AT holds this WTQ, that would be extremely encouraging at pretty killer power figures.

I have heard of only a few AT guys really having problems. Probably the same amount of AT guys out there have problems with FBO OEM Turbo cars. With the amount of RBs that are out there, the few experiencing problems with AT's seem to make it seem all doom and gloom. I honestly do not think it is that bad all things considered. Upkeep and abuse factor are likely the biggest contributors to failing AT's.
I do agree these numbers look awesome, this car would be a very fun car to drive. On another note the OP told me yesterday that he is at 5500ft making these numbers, which is also quite a feat as the thinner air makes much more work on the turbos. I really feel sorry for any N/A cars he runs into around there... Rob |

Yea and if you're willing to throttle things back a bit post-shift, you can take a lot of the wear off the transmission. I guess well see. But bottom line is that I dont see much talk about outright diff or transmission failure due to torque, so at least anecdotally we should be in good shape esp. with the Alpina flash.
Great numbers again OP, esp. at that altitude I hadn't considered that at first. You'll put a hurting on numerous exotics with that power at that elevation. |

I believe this is the same pump. Not very expensive honestly. Especially considering what it gets you. |

Thanks Pats and yes I do have the Alpina flash thanks to WEDGE! I totally went thru the car prior to putting RB's on ie Valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, walnut blast,Forge DVs, RBpcv, Spark plugs, new water-pump& T stat, oil bypass mod, , BMS OCC, and Finally RBs. I also new I was going to have a traction problems so I added some 275s PS2 outback which by the way are doing a great job! last thing to do is a tranny flush I'm only at 40k and it's an 08 so definitely when I get back from Cali I will do the flush.
