Coral red interior damage

While getting into the car, I scratched my coral red leather seat. I found out dynamix has a dye/repair kit, but they don't have coral red, but can colour match it if I give him a sample of the colour (eg 2cm x 2cm). Would the dealership give that out to me?

You can generally find extra leather under the seat past a seam and snip a piece off. I don't know Dynamax but Leatherique can bring it back to perfect for you with their dye match system. Google Leatherique Canada and give them a call, they can walk you through it. It's great stuff.

Check out this thread, it's a Swissvax product and rather expensive, but sounds like it would do the trick.

I'd like to get some for my Oyster seats, they have some wear on the inside of the bolster that I want to touch up.

Hi guys, it has been a year and I'm looking to repair these seats so they don't get worse. Is it actually covered under warranty?

It may be. Likely depends on the cause, and the individual service manager (they'd have to approve...don't think SA has power for leather warranty claims). Mine is scuffed on the side bolster from previous owner getting in/out. Bought CPO, and didn't bother me until later (think they touched it up when I bought so didn't notice). From my conversations with them, it sounds like they would replace the seat back under warranty (new car warranty, not cpo warranty). I've been waiting in case it gets any worse, and not wear out the nice new one they'd install.

Update: The dealership sent pics to BMW Canada and said they denied the warranty claim. I'll be getting it fixed at Fibernew. Will try to post before and after pics.

Did they quote the reason why it was denied?

Do you have a picture of it to show on here?

It was denied because it's considered wear and tear.
