What's your worst MPG?

In the recent Road and Track article comparing the E90 to the F30, they got 25mpg overall from the E90, and I assume they drove the car pretty hard
[http://www.roadandtrack.com/go/news/...-65-1-roa0813]
When I drive the car hard locally, with no highway driving, my mileage can be as low as 12-14 mpg. I average around 18mpg in mixed driving. I have to be pretty conservative to average 25 mpg. My car is an xi with an auto (although I always drive in manual) and the R&T car was RWD with a stick, but does alone that explain the difference?

BTW- nice to see 0-60 in 6.0 seconds.

Don't know if having a manual makes that much of a difference (i with an AT), but my worst (and it was only once) was 18 mpg on the tank. To be fair, I was having eccentric shaft sensor issues at the time and that was in January.

I usually get anywhere between 25 and 27 mpg on the tank. Thats with about 60-70% highway and 30-40% city. And of course every once in a while I drive it like I stole it. ;-)

Yeah I get 9.6 L/100 km (25 mpg) consistently about 60/40 highway to city. I drive pretty aggressively and usually keep my trans in DS or M.

Worst ever was 10.4 (22.5 Mpg) average last winter, roads were pretty bad so I was getting wheel spin

I am consistently getting around 14.5L/100km.....
Am I doing something wrong here or theres something wrong with my car?

323i Auto, drive mostly in D, no DS or flappy paddle....

Saying that, I drive 80/20 City over Highway.

Lol wow that's high, could be all the city driving. My MPG got better after adding intake and exhaust, increased efficiency by about .5 L/100km

I know right, I though I was going to get better MPG by coming to the E90 from a VW V6 4WD.....

I have just a drop in KnN, Remus dual tip back box and a BMS PBX, though running 19inch rims cant be good for consumption when doing so much start stop city driving

06 330xi, get about 17-18 mpg on most tanks because I live and work in a city, no highway use during the week. About 28-32 highway though.

I really dont even pay attention to mpg anymore, it doesnt matter. When it says 0 i put more in, its just the cycle.

I consistently get about 23mpg in mostly highway driving, but spirited and with some around town included. Some WOT blasts involved too.
On the way up to Lime Rock from the Philly area (including going through NYC) I averaged 27mpg taking it easy the entire way.
Worse fuel mileage is 8.2mpg when I'm driving on the track LOL!

I wish I could take the word "repost" out of the sign and put "Omid" in it.

When I had OEM Filter in my car the worst I ever had was about 14 mpg, after I put Techron Fuel System Cleaner I got 16 mpg then I put K&N Filter my average now is 18 mpg

I do 60 city / 40 highway, when I did mostly highway I got around 26 mpg driving 70-75 mph.

Use to get between 25 and 29 mpg when the car was completely stock. I average 21-22mpg now mix city/hwy. Heavy wheels was the largest drop in mileage.

I don't live in the city, but live in the country where there are a lot of backroads. I typically get 17-19mpg. The only time I ever approach even 22-23mpg is if I have a decent mix of highway which doesn't happen very often. I thought it would do better, but fuel economy is not all that important to me and it is much better on gas than the '95 Jaguar XJ6 I had before (I think I averaged 12-13mpg in that beast)
