You do know that the M5 body is wider than a e90 right? It's like asking if a large would fit a person who normally wears a XS size ...just saying but good luck with this and post pictures if you are successful!

Yes i understand that man, haha nice comparrison actually pretty funny. Ended up just taking a drive out to take some measurments because i couldnt find anything on here, oh and about that comparrison, thought your thoughts exactly, then i found out that m6 coupe seats do fit in e90's e92's so i figured there might be a chance, but in case anyone is wondering, confirmed today that e60 M5 seats will NOT fit in e90,92,93. Measurments are way off.

A direct swap would be to find some E90 M3 seats as they have a different upper portion than the standard E90 seats, the bottom seat cushions are the same as far as I know. The red in the M5 you were referring to is Indianapolis Red, which is a pretty rare interior for those cars, especially if it doesn't have Indy Red exterior. Good luck with your search, hope this helps.

Other than fitting them physically, your bigger worry would be the connectors for the SRS and seat controls. Seems like a fruitless endeavour.

I mean, they do use the same seat controller across 1,3,4,5,6,7 series cars... so its more or less only a physically challenge to fit the rails etc.. connector wise stuff should be the same, maybe a pin or two that needs to be re pinned. Not that difficult considering the upgrade
