Yeah very even though.
It is difficult to take a good photo. That shot is in full noon sun so it is fairy realistic. For PRELCI E90/E91 these are the brightest on the market. LCI E92 can be brighter on the inner ring but not as even. E82 is best I've seen unless you retrofit a new system. |

Thanks mate will let you know, but I think i'm good. I've kept everything, this isnt my first rodeo when it comes to modifying cars and going back to stock! Although I do regret going BOV style inlets because having to destroy the rear stock inlet wasn't something I thought through. I had a DV style inlet at least I could have somewhere to hook up the stock rear DV

Yeah, the BMR ones are good quality.

Did you actually upgrade yours yourself or are they OEM? Would be good to see a photo. |

managed to fit the BMR h8 bulbs. Phew! There were quite a few differing guides on the net, some saying you had to remove the wheel well liners, others mentioning screwing in the bulb.
I managed to do it from above the light units. Easy gettting off the black dust caps, but quite difficult to then get the old bulb out and insert the new one. The lux guide I found online had the headlight units already out, but still had some useful info.. If anyone needs guidance feel free to ask! p.s. the colour match.... the new bulbs are slightly bluer than the stock xenon, but much better than the old yellow rings |

On my 2009 LCI with stock xenons, I managed to do it from above the light units. Easy gettting off the black dust caps, but quite difficult to then get the old bulb out and insert the new one. Didn't have to move the brake booster or the other thing next to the passenger light (I think the fluid reservoir?) The most accurate guide I found online was the Lux one, though they had the headlight units already out, but still had some useful info.. If anyone needs guidance feel free to ask me! p.s. the colour match.... the new bulbs are slightly bluer than the stock xenon, but much better than the old yellow rings |

I think my BMR ones are as bright as the old halogen bulbs, but being a cooler white sometimes they don't stand out as much as the old yellow ones.
Next time I upgrade the bulbs maybe I'll get something brighter Last edited by satz; 06-09-2016 at 07:02 PM.. |
