A little OT car wise, but I'm getting ready to switch to meatier tires on our 135i and we always do it on MINIs. Looks way better and handles the Philly potholes so much better.

Thanks. They are Enkei Kojin. Wanted Apex ARC-8, but they were on back order and I got impatient. Now that I have them, I love them. Haven't seen another 335i with them, which is big for me since I like to be different. Moving on...

What did you have to do to fit 275 & 315s?
oh, I see on your build thread. M3 fenders and quarters. How much was the body conversion? Specifically parts and rear quarters? Last edited by Fundguy1; 05-12-2015 at 10:29 PM.. |

I'll take a stab.. Unfortunately I only have cell phone pics; width/meat perspective I feel isn't captured as well. But here goes..
F: 19x9.5 ET20 - 255/35/19 R: 19x10.5 ET22 - 285/30/19 Without rolling the fenders, rubbing is a mother eff'er. Once rolled, clearance will be minimal but rubbing should be resolved. IMO it's probably the most aggressive you can go without camber adjustment or pulling. Last edited by AS4EX; 05-14-2015 at 02:37 PM.. |

I've learned from getting these wheels (and visually), that actual tire widths vary like crazy. You can probably stuff a 305 from one company, but only manage to fit a 265 from another. I did not know how wacky printed and actual sizes can be until now. Hell, there were 255's that were damn near as wide as my 285's. Best of luck finding your max width project!
