Custom made exhaust - too loud!!!

Did my own stainless steel exhaust but it is too loud, added 2 vibrant resonators but not much difference.
Any ideas on how I might quiet it down not giving up gained whp?
I have cp-e catless downpipes and left the oem mufflers, deleted second cats.
Thanks for any suggestions.

could have used longer resonators i guess.

an X or H pipe to equalize should make it sound less raw too

i don't see how that setup could be too loud with OEM mufflers and resonators though. maybe your expectations are unrealistic?

That is too loud? Wow. Seems like it'd be quiet. Check and see if the golf tee/trunk actuator mod has been done. If so, undo it.

You can put some cherry bomb muffler in line with the pipe.

I never thought it was going to be loud but it is, and specially at low rpms when it shifts I don't like the sound, it sounds like a Honda!!! (sad to say)
you really think an x pipe will do a better sound?
it doesn't have the golf tee mod.
Thanks

Post a video. We need to see how loud this setup is. It just doesn't seem like it would be too loud.

i have a very similar set up... UR catless downpipes, secondary cats deleted and OEM mufflers. the only difference is that I DO have an x-pipe (but no resonators). I personally don't think it's loud at all. with the windows up there is a bit of resonance, but i do feel the exhaust can be louder. i think its a very good compromise.

try adding the xpipe. should help i think.

We tried it this way prior to making our X-pipe. It's way loud.. Once you add the x-pipe in it makes the note a lot quieter. At least it did for our exhaust system.

Thanks for the advise, would you put the X pipe in front or behind the resonators or does it make any difference?

And what is the real purpose of the X pipe, less? or better sound?
