Driving in SoCal today outside temp approx 93 deg. On the freeway, in the middle of moderate boost, approx 4lbs, which was determined on my Awron boost gauge, I fell a slight hiccup and loss of power. No check engine light came on, no code was thrown/registered. Drove the last 15 miles with no boost. Got home and all exhaust piping seemed to be intact, although the exhaust is droning slightly different as I try to push throttle more aggressively, I have an 07' coupe N54 engine. Could I have lost boost to both turbos at the same time? I've had my car for 4 years now and have only experienced "limp mode" after having the fuel pump replaced 3 times. It should also be noted my car has 93k+ miles and had both turbos replaced w/ factory turbos done at the dealership about 12k+ miles ago.

Exhaust piping is pretty irrelevant to your issue. You need to be looking at all intake and turbo piping. Looking at the charge pipe and diverted valves and checking vacuum lines around the canister on the passenger side is a good start then report back.

I would go check for a boost leak somewhere. The exhaust tone changed due to your wastegates bypassing the exhaust flow. Turbos are bypassed for a number of reasons but this can happen with a leak without a MIL.
Exhaust would have nothing to do with this condition. What type of intake mods do you have? I would start with chargepipe to throttle body then diverters and work my way down from there.

No boost

When was the thermostat and water pump replaced?
If that fails it causes a similar condition. It happened to me last year and the car had zero boost, and full throttle was slow AF. If I remember there were no dash lights so I was dumbfounded.

Update: Stock plastic charge pipe had broke at support and pipe inlet had popped off at the connection to throttle body. Fix was a new charge pipe. Cost to replace was $824.50 at local BMW dealership.

OMG that sucks. You could have upgraded for half that and got a Tial BOV.
