Man, if it comes down to it, probably stick to the known good, go with supersprint mids. I have 335i mufflers though, too expensive to experiment with mufflers... I think these are more free flowing anyways, but thats pure speculation... Mids are custom fab'd by my buddy/indy guy.
No doubt in his ability! Just thinking it may have been created to sound great vs being effective. I'd like to hop underneath and g et t some diameters and compare those measurements and the shape to a set of supersprints ... again, wondering if the baffles in the inner tips are possibly inhibitors to the true potential (if it is in fact there....) as they do have holes punched to provide an exit for the pressure and all, but maybe the obvious situation is that they are inhibiting the free flow by a certain degree...

They're too lazy/can't figure it out to give a proper tune with headers. Claimed something along the lines of 'you can get more power out of the stock headers due to stock O2 sensor locations' which sounds to me like they just don't want to spend the time figuring out how to tune MSV70/80 properly. Probably they know they won't make a whole lot of money off the kit. But they gave us boost when no one else would.

BPC is here to save the day.

I have a ESS stock pulley 115mm(4.52").
And a Vortech 4.25"(108mm).

The Vortech requires a 1.0mm(0.04") shim washer behind the puller to space it out so the ribs will line up and the nose of the pulley needs to be shaved down 3.6mm(0.14") so the nut can go on.

Vortech also has 4.10"(104mm), 3.80"(96.5mm) and 3.60"(91.44mm) pulleys if needed.

Yeah you right...
Are you referring to the oem pipe the OP used in the previous thread used?

Yeah, I am glad they took the time to make the kit possible, it is a shame they didn't want to take the time to do further R&D to make the headers combo happen. FWIW I'm sure their tune would be inferior to Bobs wizardry anyways!

Read all thru the install instructions. Fairly straight forward and easy.
Uses STOCK injectors. No instructions to change out the injectors. Very interesting.

Couple of questions-

-Are there 6 new injectors included in the kit?
-What is the size of the SC pulley supplied
-What is the part number of the new belt
-What is the 'Copper Paste' to put on the bolts going into the engine block
-Is there any part numbers on the idler pulleys, SC Koyo pulley and the pulley on the bracket

Most interesting is that it looks like the SC housing could be 'clocked' so that the outlet is up high and pointing backwards. This could then go right into the TB and then into a custom intake manifold with an intercooler inside the manifold, similar to the B58 intake manifold.

See, I was wondering the same thing.
I was looking for that kit originally, or should I say, the upgrade kit and I don't recall seeing it on the website. I dunno when it got taken down. Maybe I overlooked it...

Edit: Can't recall, is that upgrade the one the handful of cats were having issues with?

Iirc, Injectors that come with VT1+ kit are regular injectors from e9x m3.

So if anyone wants to upgrade later on, they could.
