Anyone got a picture of oem dark glass (no film)? Why nobody seems to take that option, I thought it would always be better than aftermarket film? Or is it, if you think about heat reflecting?
The car was bought in Illinois (Schaumburg) but I live in NC temporarily so I had my tint job done over here by a local business. Keep in mind that 30% is the minimum legal tint in Illinois for the front windows.
Sorry no tints are allowed on any front windows in Illinois....you can have anything on the back windows.

IMO, as black as it is; I don't think you should get blacklines. I like the look of the stock lights on the rear. I didn't think I would. I like the brightness. I wouldn't do anything else to the outside, but that's just me.

here's mine, it was done on wednesday...
I used V-cool, it's the best tint here i went for 30% on the sides and 0% front and rear (its the darkest legal here) it cost me about $530, but its worth it cuz its crazy hot in here!!!!

I did 35% on all doors and 20% on the rear windshield. I just had it done yesterday so no pics yet! If anyone wants a recommendation for a place in the Pleasanton, CA area, PM me!

20% in the back and 50% on the front, minus the windshield.
I paid 210 Euro and it was done in like 3 hours as I watched him do it. I even got to help on the back windshield. More pics can be found at my website JeffersonKim.com --> Multimedia --> Photos --> The Car I Drive |
