Need tire help on 18 inch for e90

I know the wheel brand I am getting as well as tires but need to find out if this setup works.

2008 bmw 335i sedan base model.
18X8.5 staggered tires.

245/40/18" Front
275/40/18" Rear

Wheel Offset: 35

Will there be any rubbing? I plan to also get Eibach springs to lower the
suspension for only 1 inch and no more. Any rubbing?

you want to run a 275/35/18 rear to keep things withing the correct rolling diameter.

and on an 8.5" rim, a 265/36/18 would be better for you

Thanks for the feed back.
Then I dont understand why some of these wheel manufacturer have these measurements for my car that dont make any sense. For instance they go as high as:

255/40/18" Front
275/40/18" Rear

And they say it is specified to run with my e90.

just because you "can" run them on the car, doesnt mean you "should"

So yes, you are able to run those sizes, but its not the correct sizing for a staggered setup on an e9x body.

275 is extremely wide on a 8.5" rim and is not within the recommended width range. 255/35/18 is the widest width that is safe. 265's are already pushing the envelope.

Thank you. As Craven mentioned, I think I will go with either something smaller like 255 or 265 width or just upgrade to 19" tire sets.

One more thing, If I went with 19" wheels then would this setup work?

Offset - 35F, 45Rmm
Wheel Width (Inches) - 8.5F, 9.5R"
235/35/19" Front
275/30/19" Rear

Yes this would work perfectly fine. You'll actually have some room in the rear to throw a small spacer on if you would like a more flush fitment.

Wrong offset. You should go with the ET30 front and ET35 in the rear.
