Being a lifelong av geek, especially when I was younger, I’ve read a ton about the F-20 vs F-16. The F-20 was a great plane but very hard to make the argument that it is/was better than the F-16. The F-16 became so good at so many different roles for different countries I don’t see that F-20 could match. Just visiblity wise for a “pure lightweight fighter” the F-20 already loses. May have been a better/cheaper export option for smaller countries though. I think a lot of these articles have a bit of revisionist history to them. We’ll never know.

Speaking of revisionist history………how about the YF-23 being better than the YF-22 and retiring the F-14 too early.

There's a thread about this new K67 over at the RR forum. It's the 50th Anniversary of M edition. Opinions so far have been mixed. The color is supposedly the color of the first RR when it hit the market. So far from the press releases, it's a color option code when ordering and that there's nothing more...just a color option.
