Checking CIC firmware version

Just retrofitted CIC and I was wondering if there's a simple way of checking the firmware version for navigation activation. I have access to Protool as well as BMW tools

Just read the CIC module with NCSexpert, it will tell you the version. In the below example this CIC has C09 firmware, hopefully yours says C1A.
