Cheap Insurance and £70 each!
Hi Peeps,
I made a post on this forum a while back as I actually struggled to get insurance due to me having a few claims. My partner came across a random video about Rooster and people stating its saved them like upto 40% off their insurance. I signed up and did their "Test Drive" which basically means the Rooster app runs in the background on your phone and uses the internal sensors such as the GPS to get an idea of your speed, time of driving, what roads you drive on and so forth. Once the app has around 300 miles of driving data the app stops monitoring your driving and gives you a quotation taking into account your score. At that time Rooster had provided me a quote of like £1100ish whereas direct lines cheapest renewal was £1700ish and that was better than the comparison site quotations as well. This year my renewal is £672.89 and the cheapest I had on comparison sites with over 90 results was a black box for £1100! I can't guarantee you'll have the same experience, but it costs absolutely nothing and if it does turn out that you get a cheap quote, we both get £70 just from the referral. If you have any questions about it I'll be happy to try and answer but hopefully it helps somebody else out like it did with me Hey, I am doing the Rooster car insurance test drive as you can save up to 40%. You should give it a go. https://links.joinrooster.co.uk/PCB4UjCqVob |

Awesome, you can do a test drive and see prices beforehand if you wanted to get a rough idea how Rooster will be. Once you've done a test drive it won't ask for another one for 18 months so you'll get two years worth of policies out of it. Also, if I rememeber correctly you've also got the 640D? If so, rooster said while they don't necessarily do a "multi car discount" they will carry the no claims bonus onto both cars which I thought was a pretty nice perk, I didn't even know no claims bonuses wernt useable on more than one vehicle at a time until I had to get a 7 seater and enquired into it.
When ever you do look into it, try to remember to update on here, it would be good to see some other experiences. Out of boredom I do try quotations just to see and when I did directline who I was with a few years ago they quoted me £1700! That's over 1k more than rooster and £1700 is about the same price I paid with 3 claims on my insurance.. Absolutely crazy. |
