LOL, why didn't I figure this out sooner. Put the whole family on Ramen and mod the $hit out of the gargage, LOL.

Clearly 12s are possible on stock turbos and surprisingly even without meth (although the boost levels required are not recomended for longer term turbo reliability)

I hope to get back to the track in the spring and get solidly into the 12s on stock turbos, its too bad that this track closes so early in the year...

BTW, 10s at Bandimere in an N54??? You'd better get that big single turbo project revived and maybe some nitrous too, LOL

Here are my times from the spring, best run was 12.975 @ 107.15.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=514829

FBO, 91 octane plus meth, boost max set to 17psi

I don't think our turbo's are large enough to push much higher boost at this elevation. I'm eager to see what effect the new maps with ignition advance will have since we're boost limited up here.

You might want to run at least a mix of race gas with 91 + meth. This helped my timing curver tremendously even at the lower 14.5psi boost that I'm currently running. I've also got the V5 rev 2.5 upgrade which may also be a factor in improved ignition advance

BTW , nice runs back in April with the xi

I'm going for daily driver trim times, same as I run on the street, even with car seats in the back.

With meth at 17psi, it has autotuned to zero IC with 2.0, we'll see with the 2.5 upgrade I have yet to get.

Have you loged timing in this configuration? I was droping quite a bit of timing early in a pull before meth started flowing. It would come back by redline, but sometimes would just barely get back to 10deg by redline. With a mix of 91 and 104 its over 10deg all the way through the pull. With a PPS meth kit vs PWM, maybe this issue isn't as pronounced

Good point, I haven't logged timing. Will have to do that when I get some other issues figured out.

I'm getting excited for this year. There are a couple of test and tunes in mid April. Looks like I'm going to need a helmet since 13.99 and faster should be a no brainier. Any suggestions?

I don't think they're too strict about having a helmet if you're just barely breaking 13.9 at t&t. They didn't tell me anything about not having a helmet running 13.6s last year.

You should be able to rent a helmet if they end up making you wear one.

Just for reference, my best stock was 14.1 as well, 13.7 with the SSTT tune, and 13.1 with procede (and a few other mods).

E92 xi for me and manual as well (4150 lbs with me in the car)

^ 13.7 with sstt is good, Matt. I wonder how quick I can get my car if all runs well.

Any auto 335i's running at Bandimere? I'd be curious to see what their times are (I hear conflicting info on whether they are slower or faster than manuals).

I'll probably come up for one of the April T&T (hit Dinosaur Ridge with the kiddos and then go have a little daddy fun time ).

Glad to find this thread. Just picked up an XI 6MT and am hoping to take a similar path with it to my old Mitsubishi that ended up running 12.6@111@Bandi on a stock Evo3 turbo. I know I'll be down on mph due to weight and friction but I'm hoping to make up for it on launch and squeeze out a 13.9 stock this spring, if possible. Eventual goal of 12s using the best bang for the buck mods and then just drive it that way until a turbo kit that will support 1000+ cfm comes out. I'm hoping Forced Performance will come out with something like dual TD04 16gs that will bolt on, or a good single kit within a few years.
